Should I hire a designer for my renovation?

After much hard work, I finally own a house, but an empty house is still uninhabitable. So, should I hire a designer for the renovation? This question, for those who are new to renovation and don't know much about it, the first thought is generally not to find a designer, thinking that it can save money, but after investigation, most people who did not find a designer and learned by themselves, relying on their feelings to renovate, are rarely satisfied in the end.
